Given your attitude and bias, I knew that would be your response! You are not obliged to believe me. Nor am I pleading with you to believe me. Believe me or not, I was there. The close proximity of Vietnam 1. gave an aura of credibility to the news 2. enabled me and others there to know of what happened long before folks elsewhere in the world heard the news which were sometimes, if not often, politically "sanitized" or embellished for home consumption. 3. enabled me to hear news broadcasts from several countries in the region, and I had the opportunity to see some pictures of the alleged atrocities. Note that I did not insist what I wrote to be 100% correct. But for 1, 2 & 3 above, I am inclined to believe most of what I have heard and read about. I suppose you are going to say you were there too but heard/read of no such things as I had. <LOL>
