The 527's were first abused by the Democrats, including Ickes, Soros, and a host of other Bush-haters working in concert and who have been in bed together since 2000 and before. The dems don't like a taste of their own medicine, and are shocked that republicans for once are standing toe-to-toe with them. There's nothing shifty about the Swifties. In fact, they're highly decorated Vietnam officers who actually served their tours of duty instead of bailing out after 4 months on a technicality that it turns out might have been ginned up altogether. It appears that Kerry had some close calls and lost his nerve in Vietnam, so he decided it was time to bail and did. Then, perhaps to save face and gain notoriety, he denounced those who stayed as war criminals and made up stories about not only others' service, but his own as well. Tell us your own thoughts about that Christmas night that Kerry spent in Cambodia when Nixon was President -- only it wasn't Christmas, it wasn't Cambodia, and Nixon wasn't President. You trust this fabricator to be President? Pretty low standards.
