Swift Boat Accounts Incomplete

Watched Chris Wallace show on FOX, and they discussed the current state of the controversy. It was actually a fair and balanced discussion, although Wallace had to keep Krystal from using a Hannity-style talk over when the NPR guy was making a point.
Anyway, Brit Hume recommended the above article, which focuses on the Bronze Star action, implying it raised issues for both sides. Actually, in reading it, most of the 'issues' seem to be with the Swiftie side.
Of course, on the show the panel disagreed as to the impact of this issue, and what will happen next; as expected, along ideological lines (Hume and Krystal vs the woman and the NPR guy - sorry, forgot their names). The Bush side thinks this casts a pall on Kerry, and the new ads are legitimate. The Kerry side thinks these are typical Rove-style attacks reminiscent of McCain/Cleland. They even showed part of the new Kerry 'Old Tricks' ad.
The point here is that I was surprised how balanced and reasonable the discussion was, considering it was on FOX. Is FOX attempting to break its image as the Bush Network? |
