The old sergeant who told it to me did not have to worry about NW, so his formula was TP = ND x NM x(DP x WD x SW)/ SF x (NS x RC). He said it was pretty close.

I might have told this joke before, but I don't think on this thread:

Two Kentuckians were trying to get a mule in the barn. Every time the mule's ears hit the doorjamb, the mule dug in and refused to go in.

The first Kentuckian got a saw out of his toolbox and proceeded to cut two notches out of the top of the doorjamb for the mule's ears.

The second Kentuckian says: "You dumby! Why don't you just get a shovel and dig a little trench for his legs in the dirt ?"

The first Kentuckian says: "Shows how much you know! It's his ears that are too long, not his legs."
