The Blockbuster offering does looks attractive. As long as Blockbuster does not get too aggressive on pricing, there is certainly room for at least two competitors in this niche. I suspect that the main strength of Netflix will continue to revolve around the more obscure movies that Blockbuster does not normally stock in quantity. If you are a movie buff I would heartily recommend "Down and Dirty Pictures: Miramax, Sundance, and the Rise of Independent Film." Very educational; even more entertaining. It was recommended to me by Mr. Duray.
