I don't really see this as a debating thread. This is the place to talk about how to help Kerry get elected. There are plenty of "debate" threads on SI. Hence the title: "John Kerry for President".

We still welcome undecideds. I think the last one showed up in March <G>.

We tolerate Bush supporters that want to challenge Kerry's positions as long as they are polite and discuss issues (not smears). Very few Bush supporters want to discuss the issues for obvious reasons.

I'm not sure what you mean about "fascist maneuvers" to suppress the SmearVets. I would go after them even harder. If the Smearies impugned my character, I would respond even more forcefully than Kerry. IMO, Kerry is showing great restraint. How do you counter lies about your character? That is always tough, but I like that Kerry points out this is standard Bush/Rove modus operandi.
