You kidding??/ They knew what was going on, they knew a second plane had just hit the WTC......they knew more than anyone in the country..... What do you think Card meant when he told Bush, "the nation was under attack"..... I was listening to Imus on the radio, when they announced the first plane hitting.....I then turned on the TV which already had live coverage.....no one was sure what had happened until the second plane hit and then no one had a doubt.... But can you imagine, that Bush did not actually know cause Card only told him "the nation is under attack".... Bush asked for no details...
