Well, now we see the slippery slope. Once we start questioning the severity of wounds, how they got them, etc, we open a huge cans of worms. Truth is, sometimes people screw up in combat. Self inflicted wounds, shooting fleeing enemy troops, accidental killing of civilians, and even friendly fire.

I think Dole made a mistake with the wound severity issue. Indiscreet, at best.
