Has anyone from the media asked what Rassman was doing in the boat with Kerry in the first place? Some info has turned up. Here is what Rassman says. "1st Lt James A Rassman was executive officer of A-Detachment (404), a 12 man Green Beret unit. michnews.com This report said he was hitching a ride back to base after a assignment. Other reports say he was with Kerry for a couple of days.
