Now, lets contrast that action to the action of a friend of mine. We entered boot camp together, went to Nam together. In an action he has a minor wound, something that none of us considered hardly worthy of medical care BUT it gave him the opportunity to get out of the field for a day and GOOF OFF while he was "treated". While he was in this medical tent, a young boy (they said 8 years old) tossed in a grenade. Now, my friend COULD have hit the ground, or dove out of the tent, but there were other severely wounded people there that surely would have been killed, so my good friend KICKED the grenade with his right foot, just then IT EXPLODED, blew his leg off at the knee. The good news is that after he went home, his sweetheart did marry him and last I saw him he was sitting on his ass in his front lawn showing me his fake leg and had 2 kids!! jdn
