I'll add my college experience. At the University of Virginia, where I am an undergrad, I haven't seen anyone with anything that says The North Face on it. I've never even heard of this company or its clothes before, except as a stock. The reason is probably that it only snows about 4 times a year in Charlottesville, but maybe TNFI just hasn't expanded here yet and has some room to grow... A lot of people down here wear stuff made by Hilfiger and Polo, and I am a shareholder in TOM as a result of its popularity and new product lines.
