Nadine, I watched a video of some of the same vets praising kerry's heroism, back in 1996, i believe. There are alot of fuzzy memories out there and this issue will backfire on the republicans at some point. The fanatics are out there riling up these vets--its very sad that we are electing a president on their vietnam war records or lack thereof and totally missing the new world and the new war we are in. I am surprised that you are playing in those waters. Its very sad what happened to the vets when they returned but for them to be riled up by rabble rousers and blow up the work that kerry and mccain and others did on reconciling all americans over vietnam years ago, is not doing the nation any good regardless of whose fuzzy memories are ultimately right. And now bob dole puts on his nixon hat once again and joins the fray against a man he said is his "friend". Mike
