Its very sad what happened to the vets when they returned but for them to be riled up by rabble rousers and blow up the work that kerry and mccain and others did on reconciling all americans over vietnam years ago, is not doing the nation any good regardless of whose fuzzy memories are ultimately right

I think a large number of those vets just can't stomach the notion of Kerry as CIC. Had Kerry not run on his Vietnam record, then they would have had to rabble rouse quite a bit, but as it is, Kerry made things easy for them.

When the idol with feet of clay runs by saying "look at my feet! look at my feet!" that kinda invites someone to begin scratching the gold paint off. Well, someone did.

For me, as for LindyBill, the really fascinating aspect for the story is to watch the way it is percolating through New and Old Media.
