Are we going to hear some good news about APM's MR announcecement soon? The news will be followed by "updates" and Initial coverage with "strong buys". APM earns big money and grows rapidly, why people are afraid of buying it and why so many people short it (47%, No.1 on NYSE)? The primary reason is that people are not sure about APM's ability of continuing make more money in the future, particularly concerned about its transition from TFI to MR heads. The shorts bet that APM will fail or slow in the transition. From today's WDC news release, recent APM price movement, as well as last Q's 10Q statements and conference call, I smell the success of APM strategy (move into MR production while continuong making big money with TFI heads). So long as the UP trend is confirmed, we can make money in either short-term in-and-out or long-term buy-hold. That is why the upcoming MR annoucement is important.
