But, rock, just think of how much better a place you could make America if you left it!

There are other approaches we can take to fighting terrorism than the old military might is right approach.
What's your suggestion? Send the police chief of NYC into Afghanistan to arrest OBL?

We could declare energy independence from Mid East oil.
Yeah. And we can freeze and watch the GDP drop 95% and unemployment hit 95%, then watch as the army revolts and turns its guns on Capitol Hill.

Great idea!

Got a question: THe Japanese are not exactly 3rd world. Yet they still import oil. They have no other way of driving cars. Not really. If energy independence is so easy to achieve, why not?

Until the North Sea oil beds were discovered, Europe was in the same position. They also came up with no workable alternatives. Why not if it's such a piece of cake? They are hardly primitive and they had incentive.

We could force our allies the Israelies to settle with the Palestianians and in the process make our country a safer place to live, as our terrorism threat would fall from such a sensible action.
That's wonderful. Now all you have to do is fix US domestic politics that no one has managed to fix in 50 years.

Or do you think you're the first person that has noticed these things?
