That kind of conspiracy theory is blackballed by the media. On the other hand, my Sunday paper just ran a story claiming that the WTC attack was supposed to be on 9/18. The author claimed that Al Qaeda wanted to attack on Rosh Hashana so that Jews would all be out of the WTC. Then, Al Aqaeda could spread rumors that the Jews being out of the WTC was proof that they did the attack. It is a silly thesis with no evidence, but it is worthy of being printed because it does not offend the establishment.
