RMF, The founders of the USA in their wisdom created the Electoral College. Liberals should not suggest that we throw away over 2 centuries of tradition simply to soften their losses at the ballot box. A better solution would be for Democrats to choose one of their more moderate candidates as the nominee, rather than the most liberal senator from the most liberal state in the Union. Dems simply threw away in Iowa a remarkable opportunity to win the WH this yr by choosing someone as far from mainstream America as possible.
