w2,
Fear is only a feeling, but a healthy one. I share the same fear. I relish it and try to fully be aware of it. We are in a fight. Some level of fear, or if you prefer concern, is healthy, if you can harness and just function off the high. All six senses work better. That makes our brain function better. Especially a trained brain. It also makes the body stronger for intermittent spurts. Enjoy it man. It means you are in a fight and it is important to you to win this one. Your mind and bod are in sync.
I keep looking for ambushes. Often They are hard to discern. One thing for certain Kerry is burning a lot of ammo everyday and he may be expending his reserves to early. Using the McCain ad was likely going to happen in some form...so that is no longer available to Kerry. Ditto for trotting out the handlers to bash Bush. They have had to eat Cambodia last week now it looks like they are ready to eat a Purple Heart this week. Notice they tried to hide it on a MOnday night. Probably hoping to get it over with before the next round of Sunday talk shows.

If you equate the Swiftees to Francis Marion's force or any small band of guerrillas, the tactic I would like to see used now is for the Swiftees to fade into the background from now to the end of the convention to let GW have the spotlight. Their next attack imo should come immediately after the convention and before Kerry can launch into any coordinated convention counterattack.

O'Neil is a well trained warrior. He will know that the best follow on attack is mounted while the enemy is regrouping. I have no doubt O'Neil and the Swiftees feel fear too. Their leader, O'Neil, does not lack courage. He donated a kidney a few months ago. This man is not afraid to do the right thing. He does not fear pain, and he is not afraid to attack a difficult situation. That will sustain the entire group.

Even as Kerry is expending his ammo at a rapid rate of fire, O'Neil's ammo supply stocks are at record levels and rising rapidly. I like the odds. This is definitely a winnable fight.

We can all help O'Neil and GWB by making sure the Swiftee message gets to every family member and every friend, especially our demo friends. Some of them will already be thinking about defecting. Most defectors need help at some point in the process. We need to be there for them.
