Thanks for pointing me to this provocative Cuban weblog piece. He is certainly an early mover and worth reading. I store a ton of media on an external HD. I'd like to hear more about your system. Are you using the HP Media Center PC like Cuban? I purchased STX and WDC is because I believe that HD firms should benefit in some way from all of the media storage that's occurring now and will occur in the future. My impression is that the biggest beneficiary is Apple with the success of the iPod. This uses Toshiba's micro HDDs. They are about to release a 60GB 1.8" HDD. theregister.co.uk What do you think of Tivo? Are they about to become extinct from the onslaught of generic PVR competition? Sam
