People think if you elect a President who promises "peace" you will get it. The history with Carter and Clinton is that you get a weakling that gets you war. Hmmm... I have always thought of it as: You get an irritable defense industry that wants a war. Starting a war is simple, especially if you are the most heavily armed nation in the world. Maintaining peace, is the greater challenge.
