Another beauty is that you or I (mostly you) can ban someone, even if it's not a moderated thread.
OBJECTION!!!!

What IS the difference between a moderated and unmoderated thread then?

Hey, buddy, I don't think you properly understand this from the threadhead POV.

If I start a moderated thread, I am subject to all kinds of crap about who can and cannot post on it and who is banned for what reason. I know. I've sure as **** raised enough **** about it myself. In fairness, I've also been the recipient of considerable hate mail because of moderated threads. On one, it got so bad, I shut the thread down. Another moderated thread was recently killed by its moderator when he was put into the position of having to choose which friends he made enemies of.

If I start an unmoderated thread, the answer is easy: "You got a problem? Tough. Nothing I can do about it."

Hey, I'm a fan of unmoderated threads. Let the animals eat each other alive. :-)
