The full text of that article is a freebie, it turns out. And interestingly, the hi res mass spec used is an ABI TOF fitted with a ProteinChip interface.

I presume the researchers used the ABI Q-TOF with interface for the sake of conveniently comparing datasets. I don't know that a commercial user would be forced to go that route. Just what would Correlogic's partners use as their MS and sample capture? Can they get these results without using ABI Q-TOF with SELDI interface? Can they simply zap blood in a normal Q-TOF and get those results?

Next question for Ciphergen management: how likely is it you would supply the hardware for the Correlogic test?
