Democratic strategist Mary Anne Marsh, speaking moments ago on “Hannity and Colmes”: “George Bush betrayed his country by sending us to war on false pretenses, and George Bush betrayed his country by not fighting in Vietnam.” Yes. You read that right. “George Bush betrayed his country by not fighting in Vietnam.”
We have 9,087,000 Vietnam era vets who served. 2,594,000 of them served in Vietnam.
What the hell are we going to do with other 6,493,000 American Vietnam era Vets who betrayed their <and our> country by not fighting in Vietnam?
I'll tell you what I think we should do with them. We should let each and everyone of them know that John Kerry just slammed their honorable service in the same way he slammed the guys who were sent to Nam.
For good measure, we should let every man and women, serving in our Armed Forces overseas now, know that they should expect an equivalent slam when they come home. And, of course, we should let those who have not gone to Iraq and Afghanistan know that Kerry believes they are betraying their country.
Talk about self-inflicted wounds. Kerry's staff continues to force him to commit suicide one finger nail at a time. This one may cost him a whole arm. unclewest |
