I was just watching Larry O'Donnell defend Kerry in a Swift Vet debate with Buchanan on Scarborough. Larry is the best Kerry Surrogate out there. I thought, "I wonder who will play Larry in the Movie, "All the Candidate's Men?" Now that Kerry has had to retreat on Cambodia and the first Purple Heart, that movie is a possibility. Two out of six of the charges are already conceded. That's "impeachment time" with a courtroom witness. No jury would believe anything else he said. But then I thought about what would run through the mind of a Hollywood producer. "I wonder if I should get a writer busy on 'All The Candidate's Men?' Naah, if I made that, I would never be able to do lunch in this town again. Hmm. How about making '911?' If this was the 40's, there would be three versions in the theatres by now. Naah, I would have to show the militant Muslims as the bad guys. Couldn't get away with that. Wouldn't be 'PC.' How about another action thriller? Let's see. A gang of Nazi's run out of Cheney's office and funded by the Carlyle Group. Yeah, that would work!" Hey, Mabel! Get a writer in here!
