Tom, the problem is one that has been dogging Intel for more than one generation. The new chips may have larger MHZ numbers behind their names, but they aren't all that much faster. The problem is not easy to fix, as it is basic to the X86 architecture. A decade has passed. It is time for Intel to get a new idea. -g- MB
