This is such a joke! The democrats have sent Cleland down to Crawford to create a stir over the Swiftboat vets. It was clearly a publicity stunt. What makes it so laughable is that not only have democrat 527 groups engaged in slams against the Presidents service but Kerry himself has made remarks. These remarks came long before the Swift vets. The democrats are just as dirty in funding these 527's as the republicans are. For some reason they feel they can throw stones but the President can't and thats BS! They also continue to badger Bush for a statement against the swiftie ads. Are they deaf? I watched Bush condemn the swiftboat ads as well as all 527 ads but that isn't good enough! It's ok for Moveon.org and other liberal groups to attack but the 527 groups for the republicans are expected to not respond. Can you say double standard? Frankly I think what happened 35 years ago is irrelevant and to dig it up now is bad for the country. So why did Kerry cast the first stone? Why did democratic 527's engage in ads intended to call into question the Bush record. They want it both ways and they aren't going to get it. I'm making a donation to the Swift vets TODAY! None of this would have been an issue had Kerry not tried to make himself out to be GI Joe. My uncle served 3 tours in Vietnam and lost his legs to agent orange. Never once did he use it as an excuse or brag about his service. Kerry can dish it out but he can't take. That's a quality of a pussy....not a hero. Mark my words....Kerry advisors will be stepping down soon for their advice and help with anti-bush 527's. It will be interesting how they cloak those moves in purity for demolib spin
