And this has exactly what to do with how long Kerry served in Vietnam?

Kerry's "service" in Vietnam was cut short by his three Purple Hearts, which we now find were awarded under such unusual circumstances.

Come on, you know what the bottom line is. Nobody wants to just come out and say, so I will. The guy CLEARLY manufactured three borderline injuries in order to get out of Vietnam after four months in a combat zone (yes, he also served six months far removed from combat).

I don't care about that. But that he would now USE those injuries to suggest his service is sufficient as a basis for his election is over the top. Fine, he served in Vietnam and got the hell out ASAP, just like everyone else. But what has he done lately?
