Oh please.....Bush spends like a Beverly Hills matron whose husband just left her for another woman and she's trying to get over it by going on a shopping spree using his credit cards.

That issue is evidence that I don't have overwhelming bias for Bush. I've consistently said he spends to much. If I was biased for him personally more then for certain ideas I would probably shut up about his spending.

To an extent my vote for Bush will be a vote for the lesser of two evils. Not completely because I like some of what Bush has done but his record on spending is very bad, and he hasn't contained the growth of federal regulation. His recent comments arguing that organizations from the Swfitboat Veterans for Truth to Moveon.org to the Florida Transportation Builders' Assn, (see list of 527 orgs at opensecrets.org should be shut out of the political debate concerns me. I oppose such a further restriction on free speech.
