That was a criticism of the military and political leaders who ordered the free fire zones and burning of villages. Oh really! Which political leaders helped Kerry burn villages with their own zippos? Which political leaders fired weapons into non threatening villages alongside Kerry? Here is the quote again. "I committed the same kinds of atrocities as thousands of others in that I shot in free fire zones, used harassment and interdiction fire, joined in search and destroy missions, and burned villages."
