Dems late Wednesday asked Attorney General John Ashcroft to open a criminal investigation into links between the Bush camp and the anti-Kerry veterans' group... IS IT A CRIME? Well, of course it is a crime! It is a crime when even the yellow dog democrats are in the process of abandoning their own hero for a day leader, John Kerry, and move en masse to support that real hero, George W. Bush, of the opposing party. If California can move from strongly Democratic to moderately Republican, can my beloved state of Illinois be far behind? Maybe the next Chicago Tribune poll will show the same movement from Kerry to Bush as the Californa poll reveals. But then again, maybe not. Keyes vs Obama does not help.
