Yeah, since Ginsberg's involvement was exposed, we now hear that Dem lawyers are also working with 527's. There should be a zero tolerance for folks working on a campaign to be working for the 527's and that should go right down to the janitors. Since much of the testimony of the swifts contradicts themselves, official navy records and other eyewitness accounts, they seem to have no credibility. To try to reconstruct details in minutia that happened 35 years ago is suspect to begin with. There's likely going to be some backlash. At one point 7 out of 10 Americans believed that Saddam was responsible for 9-11. That poll right after a blitz of pre-war babble from the White House that seemed to link Saddam and Al Qaeda. I think that same poll taken today would be maybe 3 out of 10. So public opinion lags the information that forms the opinion. In the game of dirty politics, timing is essential. In the case of the swifties...I think they have shot their load a little early in the game.
