Kerry's focus was not helping the North. Kerry's cause was to stop the bloodshed and the loss of American lives. Kerry could see that the government had a failed policy in Vietnam. A failed war plan. It was not a case of helping the enemy, but a case of extricating the US from a pointless war and yes an unwinnable war, especially the way the US was approaching the war. It was never an all out conflict, but a dribbling of resources and a flow of blood as the result...American blood. Orca
