"why do they hate democracy and the rule of law so much?" It's just the result of drunkenness with power and greed overriding all matters of principle and law. As has been pointed out variously on this thread, they buy others to do the dirty work and thus preserve the IMAGE of their own purity. If you want to GUT the environment in some way, you do so and then call the activity something like "THE CLEAN AIR AND WATERS ACT" even though the Act will allow entirely the opposite to occur. etc, etc. etc. Dangerous people, entirely capable of destroyed democracy while calling it something like: THE PATRIOT ACT. The book 1984 called it "Newspeak". It's here, now! NOTICE IT! Namaste! Jim
