Rumba girl...I don't do the traveler check thing, but I put any and everything on plastic, including business expenses which are re-imbursed, (since not everyone takes AMEX!), but we carry a zero balance. I just like using OPM for a month, getting milage, and saving on checks! You know, I wonder how many people are doing this, thus making it "appear" that Americans are maxed out on credit...Years ago you couldn't put your groceries or gasoline on plastic...Speaking of Ike, what do you think of the investment club idea? I like it, but agree with you that it could be frought with land-mines if not set up properly.
