I just wanted to drive that point home. In Seattle there was only property damage by a handful of what they called anarchists. Maybe 10 people. The national media siezed upon that damage and made it look like the other 25,000 protesters were violent when they were not.

JeffA's point about media blockout is already standard policy. The legitimate points of peaceful protesters almost never get any airtime. Regardless of whether there is any unruly behavior or not.

I will be curious to see what happens in New York. I stand by my prediction.
