OT:RTS, Nancy: long term buying plan delayed. I just looked at stock price, rolling eps, eps using bigcharts (www.bigcharts.com). On 10 year charts, I added a lower indicator for rolling eps. I looked at amat, nvls, klac, mxim, lltc, adi, altr, xlnx. What an eye opener. For most of the stocks the current earnings are close to 1996-98 levels and stock prices are way high. It looks scary. I think for now I will stick to ST trading. I will revisit my decision to invest for the longer term at a later date. Thanks for all your input. kdavy
