Ted, you are a private citizen, Kerry is not. He doesn't have to admit that he protested the war because its a matter of public record.
Then tell me where I can find a copy of his book "The New Soldier," if it's a matter of public record.
Its can be found at your public library or its for sale on Amazon. Here's a review of the book:
"I read this book at my local public library and you probably can, too. No one would be interested in this book if John Kerry's name hadn't been attached to it. This is primarily a picture book about a week in 1971 when the VVAW marched on Washington and John Kerry testified before a Senate committee. It doesn't contain Kerry's writing, although it does have a small excerpt from his 1971 Senate testimony. (I imagine you can find a complete transcript of that testimony on the Web.) Many of the pages are devoted to dozens of half-page personal stories written by various vets who participated in the week-long event (but not by John Kerry). Some of these stories briefly describe atrocities, but I think they should be taken with a grain of salt. The book's mood is typical of anti-war demonstrations of that era. I'm not a Kerry fan, I'm just telling it like it is. There is nothing damning of Kerry in this book, so there is no need for conspiracy theories about why it hasn't been reprinted. Everyone already knows that Kerry was a leader in VVAW. This book doesn't add anything to that or even go into his involvement -- it's not by or about John Kerry. This book is getting way too much attention here. "
If you really want to see what Kerry had to say about Vietnam, it would be cheaper and more informative to read his Congressional testimony here:

The only two places where I can find it are on eBay (for $405, last time I checked) and on SwiftVets.com, where they publish excerpts from the book.
Face it, Ted. Kerry is indeed trying to hide his anti-war past or at least divert attention away from it. So much for courage of conviction.
Face it, Ten, you are trying to turn a molehill into a mountain. The book was published in 1971.......I am sure it was a limited edition.....after all, Kerry was an unknown at the time. The reason you can't find a copy is because every person who happens to own one is hoarding it. If Kerry becomes president, it will be worth quite a bit of money. Already, copies are worth a lot.
