Much of the world does indeed hate the US due to Bush's policies. More accurately, the world despises Bush and for very good reason. Consider that Clinton goes to Ireland and has 2000 people standing in line to get his autograph with his book. They miss Clinton more than we do.

Consider then that Bush had to have massive amounts of security when he traveled to London and to Ireland. These are two countries that aren't exactly our biggest enemies and Bush is so despised that he can't even travel through them without a half the police force 'protecting' him.
