Consider Kerry's military record? Absolutely! But the right wing has gone far beyond that... they are accusing a 57 year old man of of rewriting the battlefield 35 years ago, as a 22 year old, of impossibly hoodwinking an established system to award himself a Silver Star, the Bronze Star and Purple Hearts to boost a political career that didn't exist at the time and was then a long shot at best.

They claim the men who served on his boat are liars. They claim an Army SF soldier who said Kerry saved his life is a liar - everyone is a liar except those who speak against Kerry - even though one who called Kerry a liar received a Bronze Star for action the same day in the same skirmish. (Now he claims he never read the Bronze Star Citation until now.)

This is not considering a man's military record. This is a blatent attempt to systematically destroy a man... and before Kerry it was attempted with McCain and Cleland. It's not going to work.
