You don't like the guy -- that is understandable. The issue is not do we like him. Rather, the issue is, what is his strategy? When people here talk about him being "defeated" in Najaf, I don't know whether to laugh or weep. His strategy never required him to kill American's or outgun us in Najaf -- this is so dumb that I can't believe it. We need to understand him, his strategy and our chances of responding effectively to him. Right now I see no evidence that we have even glimpsed what makes him tick or where we stand in relation him.
