I seem to remember an investigation of the "Winter Soldiers" revealed many had never been in the military and many of those that had been in military service had never been in Vietnam. In other words, excluding the few truthful ones, they were a group of liars put together by Kerry for his own political future. He was lying and conniving even then. This farce managed to get him in front of the Senate Foreign affairs Committee, and began his career of lies. I, also, believe his speech to the SFOC was written by Senator Ted Kennedy's shill.
