Iraq could become Vietnam very easily if Bush gets re-elected. They are already making neocon noises about invading Iran. Then we'd have three violent Islamic countries in a row under out occupation without many allies helping us wnd with very little moral imperative for being there (except taking out the Taliban which was 99% supported in this country). If we try to occupy the entire Asia Minor (because of the oil, make no mistake) then we are in for another Vietnam all right.
