"It looks like Qlogic's alignment with Cisco is paying off..." Hi Walter, That may be true. The article seemed to emphasize inventory realignment. According to the last Q report I read - CSCO was not one of their big customers. On the other hand if you search the CSCO web site there are 2730 references to "fibre". I posted here a while back that it would be useful to know whether Q made their FC switching modules and what that market was like. It would also be useful to know the real reason why FC has shown itself to be so useful to CSCO, rather than an ethernet based storage protocol. George D.
