They expected to be greeted with flowers as well. Reality bites and minds and plans can be changed. The question still remains as to whether kerry will be any better. As you say "there must be some reason why both sides of the aisle seem to have gotten behind this "adventure." " Kerry will have to prove to the country how tough he is while bush will have to prove to the country how flexible he is. Back to square 1. If Dean were sane he may have been the better choice for anti-war folks. Mike
