Spa Francorchamps in the rain is a driver's test of skill and today was no exception. While luck did play part in Trulli's pole position qualifying, it was his decision to run intermediate wet on a track that while it appear to be drying, as soon as his lap and that of team mate Alonso, it began to rain again, killing Montoya's prospects as he was too running on intermediate.

Tomorrow, it is predicted to be cloudy but dry. The well known fact that no one can beat the Renaults at the start bodes well for the French team and it will probably be so that the blue cars will arrive 1 & 2 at La Source hairpin (the first corner), the arrival to this corner by the rest of the field and how they negotiate it will be critical as one needs all the car has at the exit to follow a short down hill sector followed by the uphill road towards eau rouge - Radillion...

Spa, in the league of the Nuerburgring, is what separates mens from boys amongst drivers... hopefully the predicted dry weather will hold, otherwise we could witness great havoc, particularly at the start....

Let's see if Jarno can turn his second pole into his second career win after his brilliant performance in Monte Carlo
