No Ed, you've missed the point. Although we now know the first Bronze Star was from an accidental self-inflicted wound and we now know that Kerry lied before Congress when he said he was in Cambodia during Christmas of 68, neither of those points are the issue.

The issue is the man deserted his troops by being the only Swift Officer to quit his tour of duty early (on a technicality which it turns out the first Bronze Star shouldn't have been issued which means he didn't earn the right to go home honorably) and then turned against them with his testimony before Congress. Testimony of acts that he led people to believe he saw, which in effect if he did, makes him a war criminal.

The issue is he turned against those he served with or participated in war crimes himself. Either way, it's despicable for a man self-proclaiming he's a war hero.
