johnkerry.com

And please notice at this next link, that has all the papers Kerry did release, there is absolutely no documentation or reference to registrant completing service. It is a fictitious account direct from Kerry's brain trying to cover up his unlawful activities conducted while a US Naval Officer.
"

At the bottom of the service timeline which you referenced, it lists three sources for the information on that page. One of them is the Selective Service System National Headquarters. Since the item you are referring to says "Registrant," it sounds like it is referring to Selective Service records, not military records. Apparently the Kerry campaign needs to provide a copy of that document. However I agree that in leaving his time in the Reserve out of that timeline, they could be trying to avoid drawing attention to the fact that he was in the Reserve at the time of his talks with the North Vietnamese delegation.

"Nor is there the document that would have been in Kerry's permanent military file if he had volunteered for Vietnam."

There is an official record copy of a letter from Kerry dated 10 February 1968 which begins with "I request duty in Vietnam."
