The unmasking of Kerry is unprecedented in a presidential election, so far as I know from history.

I haven't read the book either, but is preposterous on the face of it to claim that over 200 veterans of the Vietnam war all along the chain of command up to Admirals, who served in same theater as Kerry, are all lying or mistaken. Many or most are decorated heroes. No one can even begin to suggest a plausible motive as to why they would lie and expose themselves to public rebuke at this stage of their lives.

In any case, we can see for ourselves on Kerry's own website how exaggerated and over-blown are his claims of being "wounded." (His own physician describes his overall health during his four-month tour as "excellent"). We can see for ourselves that he used his trivial "injuries" to get a ticket out of Nam eight months early, leaving his "bothers" behind to fend for themselves. We can see for ourselves what he said about his "brothers" when he was safe and sound at home. And his own campaign spokespeople put the lie to his phony Cambodia story.

Only a fanatical, blinded partisan cannot see that John (Reporting for Duty) Kerry stands today thoroughly unmasked and discredited-- a wanna-be, would-be emperor without clothes.
