Bush allowed 9-11 to happen despite many warnings, including several from Kerry himself. Bush was AWOl on terrorism. After 9-11 of course he acted., Who wouldn't? We united behind our leader and went into Afghanistan. There, some how they ceased fire at Tora Bora and let the top Al Qaida leaders get away. Why? Who knows? Bush has not mentioned Osama Bin Lauden since. Instead, he took everything we had and went into Iraq without ever telling us the true reason why. In fact he and his people repeatedly lied about the reasons. Most people still supported him because we wanted to believe our leaders, but what a disappointment that was. Clinton had an Al Qaida desk working 24/7. Bush disbanded it when he came into power.
