BULL! CLinton fired some 300 Cruise Missiles at OBL. Call that nothing? And he'd have done more if we'd had access to Pakistani airspace. He also had a full-time Al Qaida desk, stopped the Milennium bomb plot, had a Pakistani hit team training to go after OBL and took Al Qaida very seriously. Contrast with Bush in 2001. He did absolutely nothing. Not a single thing except disband Clinton's counter-terror teams completely. He reassigned Richard Clarke to cyber security. He did not go after the USS Cole case at all though it had happened fairly recently. He ignored repeated warnings about Al Qadia attacks inside the US. He did not mention the word terrorism once before 9-11. Did CLinton do enough? No. Did Bush do anything? No. 9-11 happened on Bush's watch. With Clarke in charge of a full-time Al Qaida desk perhaps 9-11 would have been stopped under Clinton. In FAHRENHEIT 9-11, the acting FBI head says Ashcroft told him in 2001 to ignore terrorism.
